How long will it take to clean my oven?
Most standard ovens can be cleaned inside one hour and 30 minutes, range ovens or very dirty ovens can take up-to 3 hours.
Are the chemicals you use safe for pets and children?
The chemicals used by The Oven Maiden are derived from citric acid and produce no fumes or noxious gases meaning they are perfectly safe to use in the presence of children or animals.
Are your cleaning products safe for the environment?
Yes, The Oven Maiden’s cleaning products are fully biodegradable and will not harm the environment.
Do you remove the doors and/or glass?
99% of the time yes, however, on rare occasions this may not be possible, normally this is due to poor condition of seals. If your door cannot be removed, Jamie will explain why and work around this.
Do you replace bulbs?
Yes The Oven Maiden carries a stock of common oven bulbs.
Can you clean self cleaning ovens?
Yes.
How long will I need to wait to use my oven?
As soon as The Oven Maiden has finished cleaning you can use your oven. She uses no dangerous chemicals which means your oven is perfectly safe to use straight away.
Do you remove any parts of the oven for cleaning?
Yes, The Oven Maiden will clean the original oven tray, back plates, fan, and sides providing they can be removed.
